We've all heard (and/or used) the pickup line, "What's your sign?" Reguardless of how skeptical we in these modern times have become, its still interesting to know what sign you or a friend were born under. Less understood is that each of the signs corresponds to one of the classical elements (any RPG player should be familiar with these: earth, air, fire, water) thus the person born under that sign is also born under that element (see wikipedia or any book on astrology for details):
Fire: 1. Aries; 5 . Leo; 9 . Sagittarius
Earth: 2. Taurus; 6. Virgo; 10. Capricorn
Air: 3. Gemini; 7. Libra; 11. Aquarius
Water: 4. Cancer; 8. Scorpio; 12. Pisces
So I'm curious, which of the elements dominates this site? (in other words, this site is mostly frequented by people born under what element? Hey, I'm bored, humor me)
I'm water....splash,splash....
Water. Somehow this doesn't surprise me.
I'm a libra, but if I remember I'm on the cusp of something, not sure if it's Libra or Gemini.
AIR, which makes no sense since I'm an Aquarius (The Water Bearer!)
I do not want to discuss what planet is associated with Aquarius.
Fire. I am a slight pyromaniac but doesn't seem to fit me :hot:
FIRE! FIRE! I'm a Beavis! Cool! Leo-August 20th,1962.
Hey. Wait a minute,Fausto....You ain't saying ....what's YOUR sign,baby?
Earth, I'm a Taurus, so I guess that bull is earthy, makes more sense than some of the others, but then I never understood astrology.

I'm water, a Scorpio, born November 11, 1983 (during the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month in 1983, and if you add 8 and 3 together, you get eleven. I dont know what that means, exactly, but its an interesting topic of conversation).
Air.
Apparently, Dennis and I are in the minority when it comes to Earth. I too am a Taurus.

What does the Starship Enterprise and a roll of toilet paper have in common? They both orbit Uranus and wipe out Klingons! :bouncegiggle:
Fire.
My birthday is April 19th which is the last day for Aries.
So, I'm on the cusp of Aries & Taurus but I consider myself an Aries.

Actually, if you think about it, air bears water all the time (i.e., condensation). :teddyr:
I'm water, born on the ides of March.
I guess that works since astrologically I'm a pisces, so water is a good place to be, and also I'm a Baptist, and we like to dunk our people, not sprinkle 'em :teddyr:

So astrology is like a cosmic game of "ROCK, PAPER, SCISSORS"..? :teddyr:
Well, I like to think of myself as air dried, baked mud, which would include all four elementals, but . . . since we are going by the sign under which you were born, and as I was born under the sign of the Goat, or Capricorn, then I guess that would make me Earth.
EARTH. I'm pleased.
Earth here too, which is appropriate.
air. in triplicate.
