THE HOUSE OF SEVEN CORPSES (1974) (http://imdb.com/title/tt0071627/) - Mediocre film about a place were 7 deaths took place and now a film crew is shooting a movie about the place and on location. The keeper of the house is John Carradine who's name is Mr. Price and the actors reffered to him once as Vincent Price. The house is interesting and the colorful images make it decent to watch, but the story about the film crew shooting a movie within the house was boring and John Ireland plays a cranky director which was a minus. So anyway the a breathing corpse rises from the grave in the end which makes this a Zombie film. The music is a bit erie and I suppose if you saw this as a kid it would have been creepy. The occult element was rather well done.
  (5 out of 10 Stars) Was hoping for more. Worth a look if you can get it cheap under $3.

I got this for a dollar at a roses store somewhere. I liked it. John Carridine wasn't that bad and the zombie guy was scary. Of course, I could be saying that because the first time I saw it was at midnight with all the lights off. I would give it 6.8 out of 10.
By the way the guy in the photo is one of the actors in the house doing a scene. The real zombie is a lot more decrepit. Your right Evan the Zombie was rather well done.
I had to give this one an "it was okay" rating. It's not bad enough to be an enjoyable bad movie, but it's not good enough to be considered a "good" movie.

My thoughts exactly Burgomaster.
This site recently helped me to identify this film's title. I also think it was just "okay."
What everybody else said.
Did everyone notice the FRIDAY THE 13TH like sound effects. "te-he-haha".

Now that you mention it, that sound effect from FRIDAY THE 13TH is probably the thing that was spooky about HOUSE OF SEVEN CORPSES.
I saw this once, at the Tower Drive-In, 1975, under the influence of Colt.45 and some decent Mexican; loved it for its aggressive cheesiness.
