Title: Infection (Kansen) 2004
Post by: Snivelly on May 19, 2007, 06:38:02 AM
I don't know if anyone else here has seen this one......serious b-movie delight!  The movie is set in a hospital that's about to close due to bankruptcy.  The staff is quitting in droves, there's almost no supplies left, and in the midst of this, a doctor makes an error that kills a seriously injured man.

The sets and atmosphere make this a fun one to watch.  I think the director was going for something with a stage feel to it, because the action is bizarre.  Only one character will move at a time in most scenes, and they spend a lot of time staring meaningfully at each other.  The movie starts slow, and I was tempted to turn it off until a mystery patient starts turning into green goo.  Then, it becomes a horror film, with some creepy moments.

I definitely recommend this one to the folks here!  Here's the IMDB page for it:  http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0418778/ (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0418778/)

I've seen trailers for this film on DVDs for Oldboy and 3 Extremes if I'm not mistaken.  The trailer didn't give much information as to what it was about, but it did seem to be sufficiently creepy.  I'll have to add it to my Netflix.

Thanks for the recommendation!
