So today at work we got our weekly VPD magazine (alright VPD = Video Products Distributor... basically place to order videos for the video store) and this movie has caught my eye. It seems heavily influnced by "Man Bites Dog" but it's basically what if Freddy, Jason and Micheal Myers were all real people and this film crew believes this guy is the next big "masked supernatural serial killer" and he teaches them how to lure horny teenagers into an abandoned building and how to come up with the best ways to murder them... This film also has Robert England as a Van Helsing Charater and the little old lady from Poltergiest
It comes out on DVD late june... I'm pumped
I heard about this on The Nick Deguilio Show on WGN Radio when he interviewed Robert Englund a few months ago. You might try searching the archive at their website, they post highlights of past shows you can listen to download IIRC.
Englund seemed to really like the movie, not just a paycheck flick. And he was a fun guest, managed to cover some familiar ground and keep it interesting and funny. Sorry I can't recall more of what he had to say about the movie though.
