Title: Clonus
Post by: lester1/2jr on June 03, 2007, 09:18:29 AM
I thought this was pretty awesome.  Apparently MST3K did it once, if so i'd like to see that too.  Really,  I have very little respect for the science fiction genre.  It's too specialized.  Some of them are really just action movies.  and they all have the same message, if we keep doing such and such we'll all become like the robot people in this movie.

So Clonus is kind of perfect in that it's a 100% generic sci fi movie.  Every cliche is tossed out, but so what?  why hide the same plot behind some random alterations when you're idea is "brave new world" redux?

If "Citizen Kane" has been made in 1980, would it not be a good movie?

It reminded me of that after school special "the wave" a little.  early 80's.  f**kin Clonus

Hey, it was good enough for Michael Bay to completely rip off in THE ISLAND. Very underrated film IMO.
