Title: The Parallex View
Post by: lester1/2jr on June 11, 2007, 07:02:09 PM
This was alot like "3 days of the Condor"!  i enjoyed this, but i think they do this type of thing alot better these days. i mean, there are holes in the script and slow parts you wouldn't see in, say, Flight Plan or something lke that, much less "the game".

It had a kind of funky style to it.  paranoid, 70's.  ever notice how many politicians get assasinated in movies?

Wishful thinking, I suppose.

There's something about Warren Beatty that always convinces me to watch his movies.  I agree with you that Parallax View isn't a particularly memorable experience, but you have to admit the ludicrous bar fight when Frady first goes undercover is a laugh-riot!  I also quite enjoyed the botched death-by-dam-runoff.   :teddyr:

well what do you do with a bad mystery?  bad action movies and sci fi movies end up here and on MST3K.  Bad romantic comedies i never see, (not many good ones either).  So it's kind of difficult to assess.  I mean, they tried to have a complex plot and basically pulled it off.
