A crew of scientists arrives on a far, cold planet to examine archaic artefacts of unknown origin. They discover that the German enemies have already a ship there. When they seek their help after a failed landing, they only find the German's bodies, obviously slaughtered by one of the archaic creatures, awoken to new life. Now the alien is after them.
Just take a look at that thing!:

I've been wanting to see this film since I saw a $6.99 Diamond Entertainment copy a few years ago, but wasn't will to pay that much at the time. Hopefully I'll pick it up sometime on a cheap pack.

My I got my copy for a dollar at the dollar store. Its a prett good movie. Its worth the 6.99.
Creature is a great movie!
Even though it is an Alien knock-off, I remember it scaring the crap out of me when I was a kid.
I watched it last summer and it actually still stands up well after all these years.
It does have some genuinely creepy moments.
I have a confession to make...

As an 80's sci-fi horror film, I give Creature 3.5 out of 4 stars.
Creature (AKA Titan Find) is a real B-movie gem worth watching because it's Alien returned to Planet of the Vampires yet manages to be something alotogether it's own. Klaus Kinski puts in his usual over-the-top performance and the whole seductive space zombie scene where the woman is, well, I don't want to give too much away. ;)

Star Crystal was a confused muddled mess by comparisson. If it could have maintained the live action anime feel of the tentacle monster attack instead of degenerating into the eco-friendly glowing ET clone then it might have been worth mentioning. Creature at least maintained it's focus throughout.
The only movie worthy of comparisson to Creature, IMO, is Inseminoid (AKA Horror Planet) but if we bring that up then we have to talk about Galaxy of Terror and Forbidden World. And none of those movies really have that Planet of the Vampires vibe like Creature does.
I like how Klaus is pretty casual about the whole thing when everyone around him is freakin' out. I picked up a copy at the flea market a couple years back.
The clip you posted is great. It has a moment in there that could have been placed on the badmovies.org T-shirt.
Creepy looking dude: "Thats okay, I have a secret of my own,"
Attractive female: "Oh yeah, what's that?"
creepy looking dude opens door: "Oh, here we are"
After a brief pause, female proceeds to walk alone into dark room to find the creepy dude.
All I'm saying is that Star Crystal isthe most unique Alien ripoff.

I don't agree. Is it unique? Yes. But I wouldn't say it's the
most unique.
Star Crystal, while a fun and entertaining romp when in the right state of mind, brings nothing new or innovative to the Alien knock-off cycle. I find
Inseminoid to be far superior to it, though some may argue
Galaxy of Terror is better, and if it was out on R1 so I can refresh my memory I might agree. But if you want to see a truly unique Alien knock-off then rent
The Terror Within, which takes the Alien premise, chest burster scene and all, and transports it to an underground facility in a PA setting.
Cheesy But Hey at least Klaus Kinski is in it!
Love the Bryce as Ripley character
Man, it's been YEARS since I've seen this flick. I had it at one point on VHS but a friend of mine's VCR ate it up.
Like someone else mentioned, I had seen the Diamond Entertainment DVD a couple of times but never got around to picking it up.
While it's completely derivative of Aliens at times, it still manages to entertain.
Back in the 80's, this was one of the very first movies I rented when we got our first VCR. It seemed really slick and gory back then, but when I saw it again for the first time in 20 years, it really looked cheap! Still, it's a fun movie.
And may i highly recomend the version hosted by Mr. Lobo, of that kinky feature....CREATURE"

I think oldies dot com used to have a .99 cent (comes in card stock) Brentwood version of this for sale. I know they have the Brentwood Space Odyssey multi-movie pack rather cheap, but don't recall if it has Creature in it or not. Might be worth checking out.
