Title: I wouldn't want to be in Baltimore right now.
Post by: BlackAngel75 on August 23, 2007, 01:24:57 AM
I come home from work, turn the tv to ESPN,  and what do my small ears hear?  That The Baltimore Orioles were slaughtered, desimated, embarrassed, I mean slapped in the face embarrassed by the Texas Rangers.  Not 10-3, not 15-3, but 30-3 30-3!!!! :buggedout:  That's a football score, and the Cowboys and Ravens weren't even playing. The umps should have stop it after 15 runs.  Usually when a game is lopsided I would say "stop playing"; Baltimore should have literally. :bluesad:

I could be wrong, but I don't think they stop the game in profession sports due to score.

The bizarre thing was that 16 of those runs came in the last two innings.  Otherwise it would only have been a 14-3 shellacking.

What's even stranger than that, the gave the Texas closer the save with that score.

Big news here in north Texas, and especially good news, as the Texas Rangers have not been playing that well recently. Especially, with the offense, which has been particulary anemic over several games preceding that one. That game broke or tied several records. Some of which have stood since the dawning of the previous century.
