Get the feeling one of you guys would have seen this and maybe know where I could find a copy of it..
Anyway, I remember this story that was on the news awhile back about a giant animal that had crawled out of the ocean and was slamming itself against some poor dude's car. Apparently the animal had an itch on it's back and that was the only was to scratch it. I really don't remember what the animal was, I want to saw it was something like a walrus or manatee, but I REALLY don't remember for sure. I remember it was big, kind of brown in color, seemed a big fatish, and I could have SWORN it normally lives in water... but I could be wrong.
Tried finding it on youtube, but since I'm not sure about the animal, I've had no luck with my searches.
I dunno why, but after reading your post I typed "animal car water scratch" into google image search and this was the first pic that came up:

not a lot of use to you, admittedly.
the only help I can give is I doubt it would have been a manatee because they are definitely seabound creatures, and wouldn't have any way of crawling ashore.
apart from that, no idea...
I has a parking space
Noooo they be stealin' my parking space

Of course, that train of thought led me to discover this:

The dubbed in elephant trumpet really makes this one a classic.

Well.. not sure... could have sworn the clip I saw the seal was slamming the "side" of the car (and it was a lot better filmed) but my memory could just be playing tricks on me..
Still, that's a neat clip.. hehe.
