Title: Double Feature: The Earth Dies Screaming/The Earth Dies Screaming
Post by: Andrew on September 13, 2007, 07:35:10 PM
I just opened the case of my Midnite Movies double feature "Chosen Survivors/The Earth Dies Screaming" so I could watch the first film tonight.  Well, there are two discs in the case.  Both are "The Earth Dies Screaming."

Gosh darn it!

I see your dilemma.  How do you choose?

I hate when that happens!!!   :hatred:
I had the Lost In Space TV series first season dvd which had a flaw on the disc that caused one episode (my favorite one, of course, "Mr. Nobody") to freeze and skip back to the beginning !!!   :hatred:  I returned it way back when and still have not opened the replacement, and sadly, expect the error to be there again, though I haven't yet looked at it (and I'm talkin' years since I replaced it!)
I also bought a 4 movie collection of Roger Corman off of Amazon that should have included NOT OF THIS EARTH, one of my favorite Corman films, and it is not included !!!    :hatred:

Man, decisions, decisions. Which disc to watch first.    :drink:

I had that happen a few years back when I bought a Sonny Chiba double pack.  Both discs were of the same movie though the 2nd disc had the correct label on it.

Well, we went ahead and watched "The Beast with a Million Eyes."   :teddyr:

The good thing is that I've already received a reply back from Amazon.com that a replacement is shipping and should arrive in a few days.  I did check both DVDs in the player and they were both "The Earth Dies Screaming."

"Not of this Earth" is a film long overdue for a DVD release.  I think that the only one to be had is the Traci Lords remake, which is a far cry from the original.
