I saw the first season of this anime recently. It's only short (about 2 1/2 hours all up) but great animation/story. The english version is voiced by Samuel Jackson and Ron Perlman.
It's a basic revenge story with a bit of Japanese mysticism thrown in. I liked it a lot ... kinda reminded me of Kill Bill.
