Egads! Out of all the freakin' Blob movies I could've picked from, I chose Larry Hagman's awful sequel to the 1958 classic, "The Blob" for the BLOB FAMILY PICNIC. What was I THINKING?! :buggedout:
Here is my review for "BEWARE! THE BLOB" (1972). (http://www.bmoviefilmvault.com/breviews/beware_the_blob.html) (And it is only THREE days late! lol)
Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go find Larry Hagman and shoot him in his kneecap for making this flick. :hatred: :bouncegiggle:
HAHAHAHA! I like your lesson in "cause and effect." :teddyr:
I guess I like this film more than you did. For all its glaring inadequacies, I can still watch it over and over. :buggedout:

My God, that could almost be considered early for you! :tongueout:
I found this one pretty funny at times. The scene with "Naked Tor" is pretty horrifying, but I crack up every time. Also, the priest in the wheelchair was someone I came to hate just watching his (usually wordless - viewed from a distance) interaction with others. When the Blob rolled over him, despite the cross held up in defense, I was quite ecstatic.
Hahahahaha. Thanks Andrew! Your riffing is well deserved and quite welcome. :teddyr:
And Shad, I'm glad you enjoyed my lesson in Cause and Effect. I try to keep my reviews fun and educational.
Actually, as much as I didn't like the film, I didn't downright hate it (only one movie has been given that privilege). I chuckled at seeing the "Naked Turk" haulin' ass down a dark street, and I cracked up when the guy with the cross was eaten. I also enjoyed the scene where the town barber ends up washing a stoner's hair in Blob. It was moments like these that helped save the movie from getting a lower rating on my "b-movie geiger counter."
Now, with this review out of the way, I can read everyone else's contributions to the roundtable.
