Title: The Majorettes (1986)
Post by: lester1/2jr on September 26, 2007, 08:33:07 AM
This movie begins with a dance performance that immediately brings to mind the chubby, lazy moving Britney Spears of the infamous 2007 MTV movie awards.  Unfortunately,  that high quality level is not maintained.  The problem is story just isn't that great and it's not that much fun to watch, though you get all the requisite 80's bad fashion and horror cliches you need.  No real suspense and really just the exact sort or thing "Scream" parodied so well.  The bonus features were unique in that they featured trailers for movies I actually now want to see.

I reviewed this one and I don't recall it being very memorable. Pretty much a standard slasher.

the extras had  interviews with the screenwriter.  In case you want to know exactly what goes in to making a totally non descript horror movie.  I think some people from it were somehow involved in " night of the living dead" but didn't see any of that filmaking skill here.  cool site bro

Thanks.  As for the special features I think I may have watched a bit of them. I think the 80s had a lot of Friday The 13th/Halloween type clones going on.  This film kind of hit me as one of them.
