The Valley of Gwangi and Dinosaurus! are two of my favorite dinosaur flicks, but they've been mentioned, so I'll add King Kong.
Has anyone seen Legends of Dinosaurs and Monster Birds? It's a rare Japanese movie were a plesiosaurus in a lake starts killing beachgoers and later on a pteranadon comes and they fight. I think I might be one of 5 people out there to have seen it.
Raptor (2001) (though I don't know if you really want to count it, as all the dinosaur footage is cobbled from the three Carnosaur flicks)
The Beast of Hollow Mountain (1956)

I even own an original VHS of this. The movie is due out on DVD this year, if memory serves me correct. I think that Tokyo Shock is putting out the disc, which is a good sign.

It's coming out on DVD from Media Blasters on Dec. 18th - should be a nice enough release, but I doubt I'll pick it up since I already have the OOP laserdisc, Japanese DVD, and even the German DVD. This is one of my favorite films and the soundtrack simply rocks.
Kindest regards,
Kevin P.

Dinosaur Chronicles by the Polonia Brothers.
Mighty Gorga / One Million AC/DC (1969)
Valley of Gwangi (1969) <- wasnt THAT bad, but, cowboys and dinosaurs?
I bought a Dinosauer Video Series from the flea market for my son Eddie some years back...it had the silent LOST WORLD, the rare PLANET of the DINOSAURS, atape with trailers and shorts, and a Czech film from 1955 caleed JOURNEY to the BEGINING of TIME. A little research came up with the original title-CESTA DO PRAVEKU. Here's a clip...
[youtube=425,350]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pwPAPohxRR0
...the version I have was an English dub...(and very badly too!)
edit-oh yeah...YONGARY was the 5th tape in the set!
JOURNEY TO THE BEGINNING OF TIME was directed by Czech animator Karel Zeman - not his best work but an excellent kids movie in its original language. His film NA KOMETE (1970; released on VHS here in the states as ON THE COMET) also features a few dinosaur scenes.
Kindest regards,
Kevin P.
I was hoping someone would name that movie. I saw the trailer for it as a little kid and i forgot the name. Thank you!

+Karma for the biggest WTF I've seen all week.
I've been waiting for a good DVD release of Legend of Dinosaurs since time out of mind. I have a bootleg of it, but it's the crappy edited edition that somehow shows less footage than the version I taped of USA about a decade and a half ago. It shows more footage of the festival, but edits a few of the gorier scenes, like the floating head in the water.
I've never seen the original uncut version, which is what Media Blasters is supposed to be putting out, but I've heard it's a little bloodier than the PG-rated US version.

Is it really? I own this one and I never would have realized. Then again I've never seen any Carnosaur movies so that would make sense.

Yup. Whole five-minute chunks dropped in wholesale from the
Carnosaur flicks. That's why there are two military teams in different-colored uniforms dispatched to the lab -- so they could mix together footage from the second and third
Carnosaurs for that. (I remember one scene used in
Raptor where one of the soldiers clearly runs by a life-preserver hung on the wall -- because
Carnosaur 3 had a dinosaur on a boat.)
Nobody's mentioned Pterodactyl yet. Sci-Fi Channel original: your seal of badness.
Here are a few more that haven't been mentioned:
THE DINOSAUR AND THE MISSING LINK (1915)
WHERE TIME BEGAN (1976)
ISLAND OF THE DINOSAURS (1966)
AT THE EARTH'S CORE (1976)
POWER RANGERS: THE MOVIE (1995)
THE ANIMAL WORLD (1956)
THE MYSTERIOUS ISLAND (1929)
TEENAGE CAVE MAN (1958)
PRIMITIVE MAN (1913)
TARZAN'S DESERT MYSTERY (1943)
THE GHOST OF SLUMBER MOUNTAIN (1919)
HIS PREHISTORIC PAST (1914)
R.F.D. 10,000 B.C. (1916)
BEAUTIFUL DREAMER (1952)
GERTIE THE DINOSAUR (1914)
ADVENTURE AT THE CENTER OF THE EARTH (1965)
DINOSAUR ISLAND (1994)
Anybody mention BARNEY'S GREAT ADVENTURE (1998) yet?

Wait, is that even legal?
Prehysteria 1-however many they made, 3 I think.

Given that Roger Corman produced all four movies involved, yes. Unfortunately.
I just saw an ad from Cinema Epoch featuring two titles:
DINOSAUR VALLEY GIRLS
(http://www.cinemaepoch.com/images/dinosaur.jpg)
Looks to be a bad softcore comedy.
DINOSAURS VS. APES
(http://www.cinemaepoch.com/images/thumbs/DinovsApes.jpg)
Listed as a double feature and there's no IMDB entry, so probably a repackaging of other movies.
*looks at picture* Judging by the artwork on the second one, Konga and The Valley Of Gwangi will be included.
Watched Unknown Island the other night!
Dinosaurs as stiff as 2X4s....
Funny as Hell!
I was suprised it was in Color.
As it was A B Movie filmed in 1948.
I Loved it Anyway!
Next, try Land Unknown... the dinosaurs are a bit better, and one T-rex does his best Godzilla impersonation :P
