Anyone ever seen it? The worst movie I've ever seen. Shot with a camcorder.
Ive wanted to see it. It looks interesting.

No you don't. It's disgustingly bad. If you do decide to see it, prepare for the worst movie ever. I litterly get headaches thinking about it.
I seem to remember a STOOPID TV show by the same title at about the same time.
A cheap knock off of Police Academy's Tackleberry character who would talk to his inordinately large revolver and it would talk back.
Any connection?

No, this was a slasher movie. The tv show is far to famous anyways. Definatly a conincidence.
Whats so bad about it? I mean im no big fan of movies shot on camcorder but ive enjoyed a few.

Half the movie was shots of one thing in slow motion. For example there was one 5 minute scene of just two teenagers prancing through a prarie with acoustic fingerpicking in the background. There were at least 10 more scenes similar to this one.
I loved the comedy cop show, but never saw the horror movie. Sounds like it could be superbly bad!
This review pretty much sums up the entire movie.

It has to beat that movie for not causing eye bleeds.
Never seen it but I plan on buying the DVD.
Ah, Sledge Hammer, how I miss thee!
As for the slasher movie, I think I'll pass.
Isn't this the one involving a steam train, an aeroplane, a big dipper, a bumper car, and a fruit cage?
If it does, that the TV show...IIRC...

Sweet! Loved a lot of SOV flicks and this one's been on my "must see" list for a while. I'd like to see Hollywoods New Blood get a legit dvd release as well - haven't actually seen it, but there's something strangely appealing about these type of movies.
Review of the DVD is up, for those interested: http://www.dvdbeaver.com/film3/dvd_reviews53/Sledgehammer.htm
DO NOT WATCH THIS.
This movie needs to be taken off the "B-Movie Must See" lists that people make.
There's only one reason that people resurrected, watched, or convinced themselves that they enjoyed it, and it's shallow... It was "shot on tape".
That's all.
I love a bad movie, but this movie needs to be about 20 minutes long. There are only a few funny scenes, and the rest of the time you are just going INSANE waiting for something to happen. It's slower than TREE OF FREAKING LIFE!
I know "shot on tape" is rare and charming, but it doesn't make a bad movie a good movie. Please take this one out of recommendation circulation.
