OK, OK, I know I should have given up on Brain Damage Films by now. But some of their early stuff, like DEATH FACTORY, was really quite good, and I keep waiting for the quality to return . . . but this little venture was close to the bottom of the Brain Damage barrel. Not as bad as PONY TROUBLE (Angels and ministers of grace defend us!!), but still downright awful. The "mutants" were just guys in really bad Halloween masks, and the plot - well, I'm not sure there was one. I kept falling asleep and waking up, thinking this thing would get better, and it just descended further and further with each scene I saw into a bottomless pit of YUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I rented THE VAMPIRE CONSPIRACY tonight, maybe it will be better . . . .
(who am I kidding?)
the garbage that brain damage cranks out makes me wanna shoot myself.
As much as I hate Brain Damage as a whole, I still enjoyed Terror Toons and thought Death Factory and Hell's Highway were at least tolerable. Though, I did hate Backwoods and Zombie Chronicles.
