Dissipointment is a cold, heartless b***h. Me and my friend hunted this damn thing all over town last night thinking it was gonna be amazing simply because we THOUGHT Sid Haig was the star of it. It was gonna RULE. I've felt dissipointment in a movie before, but never this bitter.
The cover of this movie has Sid Haig fighting off some zombies with a pitchfork. Naturaly that made me think that he was the main dude of the movie. Turns out he doesnt make a major appearence till about 45 minutes into the film. Lame! But that's not the only reason it sucks. It's repetitive. Threre's next to no plot. Its a normal day, zombies come, people freak out. The end. Oh, and do you wanna know whats causing the zombies in this one? Well so do I! Because when its explained that the reason that there's zombies running (I use that word loosely) amuck is because the cremator left some corpses out for to long, I cant help but think "so if a dead body is left unatended for too long, it just becomes a zombie?" and then my mind tries to find some warped logic to that reasoning but just ends up killing itself a little, resulting in me am becoming a more littler dumminger.
Oh, and another thing. Near the end of the movie, one of the main charecters is talking to this woman about how they're gonna get in a truck and run away or something and hes talking normaly and breathing fine and has been for a while when out of nowhere, the woman puts her hand on his chest to hug him or something but she jumps back. She lifts his shirt up and theres a pole comming out of his chest! A friggin' POLE! Out of NOWHERE, man! And boy is he suprised! Like he wouldn't know that there was a friggin' steel pipe impaled in his chest for the last however minutes! And to make things even dumber, this pole just suddenly turns him into a zombie! Let me say that again, just so you know you read that correctly. A POLE TURNS HIM INTO A ZOMBIE. So the woman shoots him, and thats the end.
I'm not going to tell you not to see this, because after having read this, I would figure you would have enough sense for me to not have to tell you that. You're smarter than that......right?

Oh man I feel your pain. Me and a bunch of my friends went to see this movie because we thought it was the original and they just made it 3d. So when we walked in and I noticed Sid Haig on the poster, I told my friends that this was not the original and was some stupid remake I had heard about they all freaked. One of my buddys went off on a rant for about ten minutes which started off about the movie industry and ended with something about female masturbation. Afterwards in the theater we spent the whole time ripping on the movie, very much annoying the rest of the audience.Surprisingly the movie got a huge cheer afterwards, me and my buddys booed it of course and ridiculed the everyone else for liking it.
This movie is truly one of the worst ever made. The 3d is used horribly through out the movie and it was obvious the film makers had no clue what they were doing. They "3D" things like mailboxes sign posts trees, but failed to "3D" obvious things like blood splatters, arms reaching through walls, zombies, explosions, etc. Don't ever see this movie, there is no point to it, and its just an obvious ripp off of far, far better movies.
This made me wanna see this movie. I think I might like bad movies too much.
Can anyone find a video of this pole turning into a zombie? I just can't imagine this...

Yea, he was locked in the trunk of a car, but then the girl lets him out and they run around for about 6 minutes with him feeling fine, and then they look at his chest and theres a black pipe sticking out of him, which for some reason turns him into a zombie.
The point in Night of the Living Dead is that Zombies are not spread by infection. There is something in the air which causes the dead to come back to life and eat flesh. The victim dies of the bite wound and because the victim is dead, they reanimate. If a piano randomly fell on somebody in NOTLD, they'd reanimate as a zombie. It's not infection.

That's probobly right for the original, but in this one the Morgue owner explains the reason is because he leaves the bodies out for too long.
I saw this was available in the big red box rental thing at McDonalds. I have never rented from one of those machines but I always peek while they are microwaving my breakfast.

Well, they offer free wi-fi at a number of McDonald's, so technically I guess you can download porn and hack the government from McDonald's too. Seriously, what won't they do to get people to swallow their delicious chemically treated crap these days!?
This thing just had bad idea written all over it from the get go. I guess Sid Haig really needs Rob Zombie to give him a substantial role again...............
