For Halloween. He's nine and determined: he decided months ago and it is up to me to make it happen. :lookingup:
Yes: I am one of those fools who makes my kids' costumes - and I don't really sew. (Not that a Dalek requires sewing - a glue gun, yes.)
We've been saving the little plastic cups from his lunches since last April. Now I Just need to find the right 'dome' for the top.
Aside from the logistical challenges inherent in the costume - we're rural and he has to be taken around in a car - joy - I have to admit to a certain pleasant anticipation when I picture him threatening the neighbours with a plunger. :bouncegiggle:
Oh well: could be worse. His sister could have wanted to be a Cyberman...but she has opted for Vampira instead. Thank heaven for small mercies!
