Title: Psychic Killer (1975)
Post by: lester1/2jr on October 30, 2007, 08:45:54 AM
rated pg?   The 70's were more liberal than I thought.  At the same time, it's sort of clever, drawing attention to the story a la "The Baby" rather than any superficial gore or sex.  This was a very good horror movie with some truly chilling scenes, despite the rating.  How do you stop a guy who kills people with his thoughts?  A little clumsy acting and writing doesn't detract much and it moves along at a good pace.   Classic horror afficianados take note: there is a shower scene that is on par with "Psycho".

I, too, think is a minor forgotten gem.

I first saw this double billed with HOMEBODIES in the 70's. Whatta cast! A highlight for me: when Neville Brand gets his arm jammed into the meat grinder! And Julie Aadams still looks great almost 2o years after CREATURE from the BLACK LAGOON!!!
