WILD HOGS (2007) - This one didn't get good reviews, but I loved it. The whole cast was fun. John Travolta, Martin Lawrence, William H Macy, and Walt Becker go cross country on Harley's when faced with mid-life crisis and take on a biker gang. What more could you want from a film? Maybe you have to be a certain age to enjoy this one.
(7 Out Of 10 Stars)  Watch for Peter Fonda ! ! !

We borrowed this one from The Other Half's parents last weekend. She is much more into comedies than I am, so it was a surprise when I ended up enjoying the movie more than she did. Then again, I'm a guy approaching middle age...maybe it just spoke to me more. :teddyr:
Hey Shadow.......... I hear ya and I'm ready. Do you have $20,000 and some free time?
My wife, daughter, and I just watched this on pay-per-view a couple of weeks ago. We thought it was pretty amusing (probably better than I thought it would be).
I think that whether one finds this movie funny depends on their age. I remember someone really ripping this apart over at AICN when it was first released, but even that reviewer said that there were quite a few middle agers in the audience and they all had a blast with it.
Tara Sue's daughter Angel works at a video store-she brought it home one night....I'm not big on comedies...but I enjoyed this a lot as well. Very funny!
The only reason I believe I would want to see the film would be because of William H. Macy. I don't know what it is about his acting, but it's great. I could watch him stare at a wall for and hour and a half and be entertained.
Marisa Tomei had a nice role in this film. MY COUSIN VINNY was another good one she was in.

Well she did win a Oscar for My Cousin Vinny ...
I thought the movie was good, as I relate to it as me and my friends often take off for long rides to get away from the domestic front.
CheezeFlixz, don't tell me your also a biker ! ! !

I did once and I (almost literally) busted my ass and the bike as well...much to the chagrin of the owner who had to bug me for over an hour to ride the motorcycle when I really didn't want to.
I vowed never to ride a motorcycle again. I'm fairly sure I'll never break that promise to myself.

You could save gas and loose a leg with those machines. :buggedout:
It would be fun to try it.

I ride and I have a bike (2 actually) but I don't think that qualifies me as a biker. However that is a Hell's Angles clubhouse about 4 miles from here and let me in even though I'm not a member. Easy place to get some beer in a dry county.
Yes, I have lots of toys and I've worked my ass off to get them and I'm not ashamed to admit it. I started at ZERO. And with that I need to hit the road and get some work done. (Not on the bike.) Be back tonight.
A "sleeper" hit, it made over $100 million at the box office, so there is talk of doing asequel to the film.

Thanks for the info BoyScoutKevin. Because for as much as I liked this film I also felt they just scratched the surface. They left room for more. Not sure they can get the whole cast back.
If they do a sequel, I hope they bring back the gay motorcycle cop. He was my favorite minor character. :bouncegiggle:
I would have to think he'd at least have a cameo.
I hated this movie! The characters had some possibilities, but once on the road it was all silly jokes and bad acting. I only laughed a few times, watching Ray Liotta overact so much that I expected him to turn into a Loney Toon.
