Yep, we're talking modern day Ed Wood style filmmaking - though I dare not say at its finest.

If Kong was "The 8th Wonder of the World" then Snowy is "The 9th Wonder of the World", as in you wonder how they could expect anybody to take it seriously.

I dare say the nature of this film and the stills that accompany the review make this a must read. Besides, odds are none of you are ever going to even get a chance to see this movie with your own eyes.

Haven't seen you around for a while there, Foywonder.  You've really got a nose for garbage, this movie looks painful from just looking at the few stills in your review.

I think that's the first time I've seen the ship bulkheads that look to be made from sheetrock.  The bald guy needs some dental work.

316, if you're unsure about whether your DVD program can play other regional DVDs, you should be able to find out somewhere within the program's help files or you can do a quick check online for compatibility. I want to say that yes, the majority of computer based DVD programs can play all regions, but if that's not the case, you can also make all-region back-up copies of DVDs from any region if you download "DVD Shrink", which is a free program. This way you can make burned all-region copies to play in your DVD player too.  :thumbup:

That I'm not 100% sure about. I know that you can convert PAL to NTSC and vice versa with Nero, but that's a pricey program and it's kinda irritating if you're only a casual burner. Truth be told, it'd be cheaper to buy a new DVD player that allows for both PAL and NTSC play and they usually cost no more than $40, which is less than what you'd have to pay to buy a license for Nero. Once you've got one of those, you can play region-0 discs as burned from DVD Shrink. I'll see if I can pull a PAL to NTSC conversion tonight though and let you know if DVD Shrink can do it though.

No brand reccomendations I can offer really 316, I would just check the specs of the players. If you're buying from a store, it should say something along the lines of "PAL/NTSC" on the box. It's become a more and more common function in players I've purchased over the last year or two and I don't think I paid more than $40 for one, so long as you don't mind taking a chance with a generic brand. Then again, if you're like me and you're only buying the player itself to play Region 0 PAL discs, you probably won't need to worry about overtaxing it much anyway. There are plenty of such systems available on eBay if you don't mind picking up the shipping too, just type in "PAL NTSC dvd player".
