A group of martial arts students are en route to an island that supposedly is home to the ghosts of martial artists who have lost their honor. A Hitler lookalike and his gang are running a female slavery operation on the island as well. Soon, the two groups meet and all sorts of crazy things happen which include cannibal monks, piranhas, zombies, and more!

This is a really fun movie. It has a Godfrey Ho kind of craziness to it. A bunch of american Bruce Lee Wanna Be's go on a cruise. The captain is Cameron Mitchell and the Chef is a martial artist as well. Throw in some L.A..P.D. women, a male stripper, and some comedical side charactors and you have the people onboard a cruise to Warriors Island.
Now, Warriors Island has alot in common with Blood Island. Slow Motion Cannibal Monks (takes from the Blind Dead series) that only eat women, and they eat the women to have the power to bring back slow motion undead martial artists.
These monks get these women from a slave trader who is a hitler wanna be. The moustache is a completer giveaway. And his muscular yet stupid assistant collect women for the monks to eat in exchange for the use of a Jade Mine also on Warriors Island.
The Hitler Man, dosnt want the Cruisers on Warriors Island so he sends his Assistant to take care of them. They still end up on Warriors Island to fight off the monks, though.
This movie is very fun. It has Martial Arts, Zombies, Cameron Mitchell, Humor, and lots of Naked Women. At least every one of the female cast emembers gets naked at one time or another. Not to go over the top, seeing as the nudity is usually accompianied with Kung Fu action. Great movie to watch on a bored day, or anytime for somefun. As quoted on the back of The Being "A rare find.  Grab some friends to watch this.". This very much applieso Raw Force.
The VHS is very expensive on the internet, so you all can pick up a copy in the great multi-pack "The Grindhouse Experience Volume 1". The quality is from the VHS, but it dosnt really matter, except in a couple of scenes. A must for any Bad Movie fan.

I saw this on a shelf at some store around. Looked alright, but I might just pick it up after what youve said about it

Your review makes it sound like a lot of fun.  I'll have to put it on my list.  And I like how you remembered to capitalize "Naked Women".  So many people forget to.

I saw this on VHS in the mid-1980s.  I don't remember much about it other than Cameron Mitchell.  Sounds like a movie that's worthy of another viewing.

This was the first film I watched on my shiny new Grindhouse Experience 20 movie collection. Thanks, Javakoala!

A hilarious combination of martial arts, The Love Boat, TOMB OF THE BLIND DEAD, Survivor, and PIRANHA. And, as hinted at above, lots of Naked Women. Best scene has the cannibal monks basting a cutie with barbecue sauce before roasting her. Cameron Mitchell appears to be drunk though the whole film, which was probably a good idea.

FUN FACTS:
-Caged Fillipino women don't really mind having their clothes ripped off.
-Cannibal monks laugh an awful lot.
- Secret zombie samurai islands advertise with colorful brochures.
-Everybody knows how to kick box.
-It's hard to knock somebody out with an empty gas can.
-The LAPD SWAT team includes a buxom blonde name 'Cookie'.
-Asian piranha are twice as big as South American ones, and thrive in salt water.

How the hell did I NOT watch this one?  I'm going in to watch it right now.  Those three new video games can go screw themselves.

Oh, Raffine, the pain and/or the pleasure that is the Grindhouse Experience is something you should reserve thanks for until you've watched a few more movies.  I recommend Demon Witch Child.  Save Executioner, Part 2 for when you have lots of time and saintly patience.

I forgot to mention: the music score was composed by Walter Murphy. He's known now for writing music for Family Guy and American Dad, but first burst upon the American music scene with his A Fifth of Beethoven, a popular 70s disco version of the first movement of Beethoven's Fifth Symphony - really. I saw his name in the credits and thought "THAT Walter Murphy?!?" and, yup, it is.

Out of morbid curiosity, and I do mean morbid, I watched a bit of SAVAGE MAN SAVAGE BEAST, the notorious mondo-style documentary about violent and generally weird human and animal habits. I'm a big softly at heart and so can't stomach the graphic footage of Aborigines and Bushmen slaughtering kangaroos and elephants, but the anaconda swallowing the monkey was oddly intriguing. I haven't gotten to the infamous supposed real footage of a pride of lions killing and eating a foolhearty tourist as his wife and kiddies watch.

Don't miss the footage of the hippy chick breastfeeding a baby goat or the group of African tribesmen, uh, fertilizing the soil. You'll never see this stuff on the Discovery Channel!

You wise advice is noted.

There are a couple of Women in Prison films on the flip side of that disc I'm achin' to watch. One appears to be some sort of WIP/Naziploitation hybrid and the other a Hong Kong take on the genre, complete with a tough-as-nails black character, i.e. an Asian woman in black-face and a fluffy afro wig.

Well, I wish I had just played my video games now....

Okay, not that I would sit through this nightmare again, but was I dreaming or was there a lot of very weird stuff going on in the background, sound-wise?  Like the crashing sound heard when we first see the captain of the boat or the car crash sound when the boat owner is shopping in the port city or the weird announcements from the loudspeaker on the boat?  Maybe once I've cleansed my cinematic palette, I can go back and just listen to this movie.

And I never thought I'd hear myself say, "Oh, god, poor Vic Diaz!" after seeing "Beast Of The Yellow Night", but I did upon seeing him as one of the monks in this mess.

And the second feature on that disc was a bit of a shock.  Watching natives surround an animal and spear the poor critter over and over, well, I'll save that for a more blood-thirsty evening.

Animals being killed, natives masturbating, and naked hippies galore. I had to fast forward through 90% of the thing.

Not worth the effort...
