I saw this movie today, and all I can say is wow... What a load of...
Well, okay. It was one of those movies for me that was different enough and bad enough that I actually found myself enjoying how ludicrously horrible the acting and timing was.
There is one scene in which the protagonist is trapped in a car for about 20 minutes, and all that happens for most of that time is Junior either shaking the car or banging on the roof. After a while, he kills a few people and the girl tries to escape a few times without any positive results. One thing I find silly about this scene is that her best friend is decapitated on the roof, resulting in a huge cascade of blood that magically disappears when the girl leaves the car.
There was something in this film that couldn't bring me to totally hate it. It felt like it couldn't make up its mind if it wanted to be a slasher or a torture porn, but wound up being some confused example of both.
Oh, but it could be worse. It could be Cheerleader Massacre, one of the only horror films I've felt was actually ruined by having a plot (or trying to).
