I didn't think I would ever have to use "What Was That Film?," but a co-worker, I know, has been looking for this film for over a year, so I thought I post the film here to see if anyone could recall it.
She knows it was science fiction. She thinks it was from the '90's. At least she remembers first seeing the film in the '90's. She remembers one of the first scenes from the film and one of the last scenes, but nothing in the middle.
First scene
An alien comes down to earth, disguised as an Earthling, to look for a mate. He walks into a bar, where he kisses a woman. Kissing must be the way the aliens procreate, because the woman becomes pregnant from the kiss.
Last scene
Nothing from the middle, but towards the end of the film, the three of them: the alien, the woman from the bar, and their new born baby leave Earth and return to the alien's home planet.
It vaguely sounds familiar, but I can't think what's it called, nor who is in it. Any guesses as to the title of the film?

I was going to ask Andrew to send this one to the "Solved" board, but somebody has already beaten me to it.
It is "The Invader." My co-worker knew it was the title of the film she was looking for, when she saw that Ben Cross was in it.
