I'm sure that someone knows this one. This was either on Nickelodeon or USA. It was either a British or Canadian production. There are three kids one is a tall black kid, one was a white girl, the third was a younger white boy. They were working for Merlin (I think) or a Merlin-like wizard. They were after an artifact which had a funky name. The whole point of the series (I think) was to keep this artifact out the hands of the bad wizard and his henchmen. Had a bit of Dr. Who feel to it, but with kids. I watched it all the time after school.
Any ideas?
It sounds like part of the Nickelodeon series "The Third Eye", which would make it somewhat difficult to track down, since it was taken from several other BBC mini-series'.
If I recollect proper, the good wizard's name was Roscoe, who had made this maze or labyrinth that could transport people to different parts of time, & the three kids where looking for a stone called The Nidas.
Oops! Just double checked.
Into the Labyrinth http://imdb.com/title/tt0081877/ (http://imdb.com/title/tt0081877/)
A couple of other titles from The Third Eye were;
The Haunting of Cassie Palmer http://imdb.com/title/tt0245629/ (http://imdb.com/title/tt0245629/)
Children of the Stones http://imdb.com/title/tt0075491/ (http://imdb.com/title/tt0075491/)
Under the Mountain http://imdb.com/title/tt0202769/ (http://imdb.com/title/tt0202769/)
Hmmm... I'm not sure about that. I remember the trio of kids were working together. It certainly fits the early Nickelodeon era and was an import to the U.S. I had to see the three kids.
The Into the Labyrinth part fits... maybe it is. I need to track down screencaps to be sure.
Upon further review the ruling on the field stands, Touchdown! Yeah, I just wiki'd the synopsis. That is it. Thanks!
this sounds cool..kind of like timeslip...
