Hey my bad movie cohorts...I need your help identifying a couple of flicks for friends of mine.
First: a movie with a scene featuring a girl looking into a mirror. She's wearing braces, and her braces start growing until they fill the entire house.
Second, and probably easier: a scene featuring a house on fire, and then a shot of a kid standing in front of the house saying "f**k you." possibly at the camera. It sounds really familiar to me, but I just can't place it.

I'm not positive, but I'm pretty sure a braces scene was in one of the Nightmare On Elm Street flicks.
"Poltergiest 2" had a braces scene, but that happened to a boy.
I'm very hazy on this, but the second one kind of sounds like the end of THE GATE. Of course, I don't like to remember that movie any more than I have to, so maybe somebody else can double-check me on this.
The second one might be Firestarter. How old was the kid? Boy or girl?
If David's right about the kid screaming "F*** you," then it wasn't "The Gate," for two reasons.
1.) TG is PG-13. F*** is, last I heard, a guaranteed R. (Especially with the subject matter and tone.)
2.) I watched the movie again a year or two ago. I would remember hearing it.

I've heard the "eff" word in Pg-13 movies before. From my movie watching experience you can only say "F***" in a pg-13 movie once, twice MAYBE.
