Title: Robot Dog movie?

Does that sound right?  I think it may have been made for TV.

Anybody ever heard of that?  I remember it was a computer and the guy twisted the dogs head off to get to all of the computer stuff.  The dog saves the day in the end of the movie but gets blown up by a bomb.

Was it called C.H.O.M.P.S.?

Any clue?

I'm telling you guys and gals.  I don't know what I would have done if I hadn't stumbled up on this website. 

I looked at IMDB for Chomps and that was it.  That's the movie.
