Anyway, this was great. past her prime Lana Turner marries a rich guy and incurs the wrath of his daughter but mainly the daughters scheming boyfriend, who slips her some LSD and tries to get her to kill herself. The movie looks like Austin Powers meets Batman (tv show). the hippies are of the evil hollywood variety. Virtually every movie I've seen with hippies has them as all like Manson famliy members. I guess flower power was too nice to make a movie out of. Either that of filmakers as a species simply HATE hippies. Anyway, nothin' fancy, just alot of pretty girls and mild but spirited exploitative ness.
I bought this as part of a Warner "cult classics" 3-movie pack, but I haven't watched it yet.
