At least that seems to be the opinion of the folks doing the new "Knight Rider" movie.
They try to pass this new version of "Kitt" off as "the same exact kind of car as the original was"
Yeah right. because they look so much alike. Face it--the new one sucks and I won't go see the movie if that is truly the car they are gonna go with.

Yea that car is not going to cut it. Now if an old school Shellby GT500 was used, then that might be different.
KITT is supposed to be an F-body, not a $#!@in' Mustang.
Ok...I can certainly understand them not wanting to use the original car as it's too outdated...an early 80's Firebird just wouldn't look right but really...why couldn't they have stuck with GM and used a newer Firebird? Why does everything always need to be changed so much?
I keep waiting for them to remake Magnum PI and have Magnum played by someone like Jim Carrey or some other "comedy" a-hole and instead of the Ferarri, his car could be a Mitsubishi or something... :lookingup:
