I remember this show being on Fox when I was a teenager but I could never remember when it was on. Thanks to youtube, all these bad tv shows can now be found:

This was one of Fox's very first shows. It came on Saturday night I believe. I remember when F0X was about to launch a commercial would air that was just text that said.
It's late, you hear something rattling your trash cans. Maybe a stray dog? But, how do you know it's not a werewolf? That was it, no explanation until the series premiered.
This and the other series you've posted about (Friday the 13th and Freddie's Nightmares) are regularly shown on Chiller (which I believe is exclusive to DirecTV ) along with Monster's, Brimstone, Good vs. Evil, and Alfred Hitchcock Presents.
AAURGH! what is this Chiller you speak of? I must have it hehe
Actually, my sister has this on her dish but I didn't know what they've been airing.
I think this show suffered because of the 30 minute length. It became kinda redundant a while, although Chuck Connors did a great job when he was on as the evil head werewolf.
I remember this bizarre series and remember telling my teacher about an episode where there was a werewolf in a monastery, and she thought that was interesting, especially when I told her one of the monks had faith St. Francis, patron of beasts, could protect him. I must've slanted my re-telling a little too much toward piety because she told everyone we should watch the show, ha. We were all like eight or nine or something...
Haven't thought of Werewolf in a tree's age.
