Hey, there! Awesome site, guys!
Figured I'd throw this stumper at you.
I'm looking for a movie, but here's the only scene I can remember from it - a female victim is trapped in a cage or cell of some sort. The bad guys are either shooting bullets at her feet, electrifying the floor, or heating it up to make the victim "dance."
This movie was either a Women In Prison, Crime Drama, or Horror genre.
And NO, I'm not looking for the horror flick Cat's Eye. Good cheesy horror movie, but not the one I'm looking for, unfortunately.
UPDATED DESCRIPTION!!!!!
Additional descriptive details: The movie definitely wasn't filmed in the 60s. I'm pretty sure the movie was made some time in the 70s or 80s. I'm leaning more towards the 80s, though. And yes, it was filmed in color.
I think the scene MAY have taken place in an office sort of setting, with a cage or cell built into the wall. The female victim was wearing either a dress or bathing suit.
Not completely sure, but I think there was a car chase scene directly after and there was a garbage truck involved with the chase somehow.
Thanks for any help you can provide. I look forward to being part of such a cool community! :)
any ideas on when it was made?is it color,or B&W?,foriegn, with really bad dubbing, maybe?i think i have an idea...if it's in color and foriegn/dubbed,anyway,it might be a variation on dr.tarr's torture dungeon..so many different versions of that out there, but i seem to recall a scene like that in the uncut version, with a different title...
It was definitely in color, and I'm reasonably sure they were speaking english. Can anyone out there verify that Dr. Tarr flick? 316zombie, can you remember the title of the uncut version?
Any other suggestions welcome. :)
well.....i was gonna say cats eye, i dont recall any flick in my memory bank as of now, but its early.
Does anyone have any other suggestions for the scene I'm looking for? Dr. Tarr was a dead end, unfortunately (though I appreciate the effort).
C'mon, think!
my best friend says it's the incredible midnight horror show?i haven't seen that,so can't verify right now....
there's a scene of a caged woman in the holy mountain, but it's fleeting.
Your scene sort of sounds like something from the underwhelming Masters of Horror episode Dance of the Dead, but that's probably too new to be it.
Master of Horror's Dance of the Dead... apocolyptic episode with John Englund, I believe? Campy, amusing episode, but nope, not it.
I'll check out The Incredible Midnight Horror Show. Any other suggestions? :)
UPDATE: No such movie as Incredible Midnight Horror Show... at least, not ANYWHERE online. Wrong title, perhaps?
hhhmmm...try deleting incredible,he says....he saw it at the drivein years ago...
The EERIE Midnight Horror Show
http://www.1000misspenthours.com/reviews/reviewse-g/eeriemidnighthorrorshow.htm
Sounds like it was confused with THE INCREDIBLE TORTURE SHOW...which was renamed by Troma as BLOODSUCKING FREAKS.
I've seen Bloodsucking Freaks (as many B-movie lovers have), and that is not the movie I'm looking for. I don't believe the Eerie Midnight Horror Show (1974), aka, The Sexorcist, aka, The Sexorcist Devil, is it either.
Any other suggestions? :)
Anyone else have any other ideas? :(
Any other suggestions?? This is killing me! :hot:
I updated my original post with the following additional details of the movie I'm looking for:

still looking,hon,i swear!
I appreciate it. :)
okay,i'm wondering if you are positive it's a movie?it sounds like an episode of tales of the unexpected...
Hmm.. I suppose it's possible... could you give me the episode title or a link to the synopsis?
give me a couple of days,i'll have to go through all 4 boxsets, okay?
Okay, cool. Looking forward to your answer. :)
Anyone else has any additional ideas, let me know.
haven't had time to actually watch the episode, but we think it's called"sin, inc"?
Hmm.... mayhap you're thinking of Quitters, Inc. from Stephen King's Cat's Eye, which is not the movie I'm thinking of.
The closest title to Sin, Inc. in the Tales of the Unexpected series is "Vengeance in Mine Inc." Seriously doubt that's it... but I'll check it out.
Any other suggestions? :)
Thanks for the help, 316zombie, but that Tales of the Unexpected lead was a dead end. :( Thank you for trying, though.
Does anyone else have any other ideas?
No other leads? :(
Anyone? Any ideas?
There's a glass case scene in Tromeo And Juliet ... and also in "The Cell"? Doesn't sound like them, though ...
No, neither of those movies are it. Thank you for the making an attempt, though.
Anyone else?
Damn, this is driving me nuts. Anyone else have any suggestions? C'mon, someone out there must have seen it!! :bluesad:
I'll look around, but I remember a trailer for a women in prison movie that involved a shootout/chase/escape in a garbage truck. But from my recollection it was more early 90's than 80's. It was also a sequal. I'm thinking of Chained Heat 2. Not because of the floor thing, but because its possibly WIP and the garbage truck.
All right, Tourist. Thanks for the help. Let me know what ya find! :)
No luck with Chained Heat 2. Any other suggestions, guys?
Happy Holidays, guys! Any other ideas on my search? Driving me nuts. :(
Jackson County Jail fits the cell requirement, also it has a car chase scene. Not too sure about the dancing heated floor-ness, though.
Can anyone else confirm Jackson County or provide any other ideas?
A bit outside the box perhaps, but have you considered "Spacehunter: Adventures in the Forbidden Zone". Peter Strauss is trying to rescue 3 women who have crash landed on a remote planet.
The main bad guy is keeping the women in his underground hideout. Caged, I think. Molly Ringwald has a scene where she's wet in a pond. She and Strauss have to go through an obstacle course to rescue them. Strauss' vehicle looks like it was made from garbage. Here's a couple of links to pics from it.

Hope this helps.
Thanks for the suggestion, Bargle5. I'll check out the movie, but unfortunately, I'm pretty sure it's not what I'm looking for... anyone else?
Anyone else have any other ideas? I've wracked my brain.
This movie sounds like it could be Runaway produced in 1984 with Tom Selleck & Kirstie Alley. The bad guy is some kind of computer/electronic genius who shoots at them with electronic bullets in one of the earlier scenes. I do remember a car chase scene involving small machines with bombs on them that try to blow up a car that is being driven on the highway. At the end, Tom Selleck fights a bunch of small machines in a building with spider legs that spray acid. A cage elevator scene sounds vaguely familiar.
Runaway... good movie, but incorrect, unfortunately. :( Anyone else care to take a stab at it? I'm out of ideas.
Bump! Anyone have any ideas, thoughts?
Bump... anyone with any fresh ideas?
Anyone have any new suggestions? :)
Nightmare Circus (1974) ~ is an odd movie where the guy kidnap woman and force the to perform in a circus act. Although it might not be what you are looking for...
Women dancing in a birdcage was a big thing in the 1960's to ??? so I'd wouldnt be surprised that there is a movie with a woman locked in a birdcage and forced to dance. (although looking up birdcage and dance isnt much help)
A few movies I found but have not seen...
Golden Apples of the Sun (1973) ~ Seems to be a cross between Deliverance (1972) and The Last House on the Left (1972)... But I think a guy was trapped in a bird cage (or chicken coop)
Pets (1974) ~ The story seems to be about a collector that picks up hitchikers and keeps them like pets.
MaƮtresse (1975) ~ another control type story, this seems like a game between a female domatrix vs a badass...
The Mafu Cage (1978) ~ Two strange sisters live in a crumbling mansion, where they keep a pet ape, which belonged to their late father??? (Hmmmm... I think I would like to see this)
(I'll look around)
Hey Skull! Thanks for the suggestions... none of the movies mentioned are it, though. Any other ideas?
Still looking... anyone have any ideas?
Women in little cages reminds me of "Star Slammer". It was a garish, 80s WIP movie in space. Theres a bit where she gets attacked by a rat thing in the bottom of the cage and is dancing about. In saying that, there are no garbage trucks in space....

Anyone else have any other ideas? I've wracked my brain.
Well, if it were black and white and made in the 60's, the Olivia de Havilland thriller
Lady In A Cage would be a strong candidate.
Lady in a Cage I know isn't it. Checked out Star Slammer... wow, what a stinker, lol. Not it either. Thank you for the suggestion, though.
But there is a chance it could have been sci-fi.
Anyhoo, still looking, and it's driving me nuts... anyone have any other ideas?
