Once I was reminded that he was a member of the Singing Senators, I couldn't take this goofball seriously. Specter I can kind of respect even when I disagree with him. Ashcroft I'm not a fan of, especially when he was AG, but he had his moments of decency, and he was in a bind trying to campaign for reelection to the Senate against a dead man (really the widow who would serve in his place) and not looking like a bully or a ghoul. Lott shot himself in the foot and put that foot in his mouth with his sucking up to ole Strorm. And his leaving office when he did was too brazen an attempt to cash in before a rules change on lobbying, bad form, man.
But Craig is just damn pathetic, he's made nothing but bad decisions in this whole matter and he won't be a man and accept that he's his own worst enemy.
