Title: Need a Good Registry Cleaner
Post by: Ash on January 28, 2008, 08:44:41 AM
Anyone know of any good free registry cleaners?
My p.c. is still acting up and doing weird things so I figured I try cleaning the registry.
As far as I know, it's never been cleaned.

Since I've never performed a registry cleaning, do you have any tips for me?
I'd appreciate any help.

Thanks!

I have used both of these to take care of problems. I can't say one is better than the other as they both seemed to work fine. I did notice a great improvement when I ran them.

Thanks Odinn.
I'll download them and give 'em a try.

I tried the Abexo free registry cleaner (http://www.download.com/Abexo-Free-Registry-Cleaner/3000-2094_4-10434886.html?tag=lst-1) the other day and it must've erased something it shouldn't have.
Now whenever I start my computer, it tries to reinstall some TrayApp thing.
I researched it and it's something to do with my HP printer.
Good thing I made a backup of my registry before I cleaned it.

Anyone know of any other good free tools to keep computers running smoothly?
