A friend of mine passed away recently, and I was thinking about some of the stuff we used to do. I remember she had this movie called "Parents". I never watched it with her, but I remember she told me it was about these parents who would serve their kids human flesh for dinner. It does'nt sound all that amazing, but it doesnt sound bad either. I think I'll netflix it.

I recently purchased: Silent night Deadly night, Sabrina the teenage witch season two, Planet of the apes movies box set, Lady Vengeance, The girl next door (because Stephen King gave it a good review) and the zombie pack 2, comes with 3 cool zombie flicks.

did you buy parents by any chance ?
Parents was great, i still have a copy of VHS. I love it when they explain the theory of leftovers to the little boy.. before they are leftovers, they are leftovers-to-be.
As for the guy who bought girl next door. its an ok movie, but i am a big fan of jack ketchum and they basically butchered the book in making the movie...

I think this film is brilliant...genuinely creepy suspense. you really get into the kid's perspective of what's going on. and the recreation of 1950s america is very good. there's really dark humour in it as well, like one murder scene set to 50's bouncy rock'n'roll on the soundtrack.
For a second, I had this confused with "Serial Mom" which is an excellent movie. I'll have to check this one out. It sounds cool.
