....the Badmovies.org's South African ambassador will be off on his travels soon.
My itinerary for the next couple of months is enough for anyone to go :buggedout: and I hope that my prefabricated, water and rust proof undies will stand up to the intense pressure. Those paper ones, they no work no more and the drivers of the cars behind me get strangely angry when I chuck my used ones out the window. I don't know why they get angry.
In March, I go here: www.kknk.co.za (http://www.kknk.co.za). Last year, BM.org friend Rich Andrini told me to get my fun on and so I will. Wish I could take you there, Rich: wall to wall music, arts, good food, great times. :teddyr:
In May and July, I go here: www.volksbladfees.co.za (http://www.volksbladfees.co.za) In May, we will honour our film pioneers at a banquet and in July we screen their films. That will mean that I have to employ Cheezeflix's natives once again. This time they will have to carry 80 reels of film all the way, four hundred miles to Bloemfontein. :buggedout:
In July, I go here: www.encounters.co.za (http://www.encounters.co.za) Hopefully they'll let me go to Cape Town which is always fun.
In August, I go here: www.ifla.org (http://www.ifla.org) That is, if the people want me in Quebec or not. I would love to go and try not to make too much of an ass of myself when I deliver a paper there.
That's way too much travelling for one year, but I look forward to it. :teddyr:
sounds like you'll be busy...have a good time with all of that.

Well done, Trevor, happy travelling!
As for the undies, microfibre ones are beautiful against the skin, but they're not stain proof. Still, dark colours should take care of that. :teddyr:
Hope you have a safe trip. BTW, I have heard of asbestos underwear in the past so that might be worth a look though just be sure to not breathe the fibers.

Thanks, people, karma for all of you. :bouncegiggle:
Asbetos undies would be safe as long as he doesn't scrape anything against them to release the dust.
But they would come in handy when he meets a pretty girl, at least then his loins will only be on fire in the figurative sense :teddyr:

Then my two pairs of faithful old undies would be known as Itchy and Scratchy. :twirl:

TWO pairs of undies? What are you, a rich doctor? :bouncegiggle:
Enjoy you many travels and be safe ... I for one do not miss the endless traveling I use to do, but I admit I did enjoy it.
They do look like some very entertaining events.

 Great to have a fellow South African here.
I'm a film archivist at www.national.archives.gov.za (http://www.national.archives.gov.za) and I am surrounded by movies every single day. Strange when your hobby becomes your work, isn't it?
:bluesad: :bluesad:
It looks like I won't be getting a per diem allowance for the www.kknk.co.za (http://www.kknk.co.za) trip so I will have to wear my undies more than once, then inside out and then cut off the messy bits to spare the wearer's blushes.
