I am under several curses myself. The lightest is being surrounded by people with dreadful preppie nicknames like Bunni and Skip. The heaviest is that for the past several years, people all around me have been dying like flies, and most of them are young and healthy. In a great many cases, they can't decide whether it's accident or suicide, accident or murder, natural causes or murder, etc. etc. etc.
And none of them has had a preppie nickname, which might have made it easier to bear.
Somedays it's a question resorting to gallows humor, or punching a wall instead.
Do you have a curse of some sort on you?
The way things have gone for me the last few years...yeah, I have actually thought of a curse. It sounds stupid but it makes it easier to deal with...lol
I don't believe in curses. I just see opportunities to take stock of my life and learn from others' mistakes.
If curses truly existed nations wouldn't fight wars, they'd just have their witch doctors whack each other's leaders via curse. ;-) Osama would've died a thousand deaths on 9-12-01, Hitler would have burst into flame on the day he invaded Poland, and by now Justin Timberlake would be covered head to feet in boils for not marrying a million adoring but vengefully spurned tweenaged girls.
But it's fun to talk about things and people being cursed. Heck even I've said it. A longstanding joke/rumor/whatever on my father's side of the family is that there's a curse on us that skips a generation: mine being the one that isn't skipped, ha.
I'll take Killer Bees' reply to indicate that s/he makes no mistakes him- or herself. :twirl:
OK, maybe some of youse are under curses, but WHAT are the curses?
Every team I'm on in a small team sport loses, four on four basketball, badminton, even baseball. You name it, I lose it.

I make heaps of mistakes but I don't think it's because I'm cursed. It's either because I'm not organised enough or I'm not paying attention, or I'm just tired.
I misunderstood what you meant by "curse", hence my reply.
Yes, I'm cursed with dashing good looks, but that is a cross I bare.

"Pathetic Earthlings" :bouncegiggle:
Years back I jokingly said I was cursed when it came to women. It seems that no matter how long I knew them, or how long they had been single, the instant I took a liking to a woman and considered asking her out was when a boyfriend materialzed out of nowhere. And this wasn't a case of them just making up some fictional boyfriend so I'd lose interest. These were real guys that came along and dated them for months and years. Even getting married in a couple of cases. I finally reached a point where I was fed up with females and was content to live out the rest of my life alone. That's when I met my wife.
