I've been searching youtube for bad movie segements and came to a realization. There are some good songs in the bad movies we enjoy so much. Many are as stupid and cheesy as the movies that they are in-but thats what makes them fun. I've been singing "Meaner and Greener" from "Return to Frog town" to myself for the last couple of days.
Sykotic sinfonty's "Manic depresso" from Bad Channels (reviewed on this site)
Fontanelles "Kiss Kicker 99" from Hobgoblins
The Dickies "Killer Klowns" form the movie...well you can figure that one out for yourself.
I know it will never happen-but I would love to see a Songs of Bad Movies CD soundtrack.
HAHAHAHA!!! Push der button....! You know you vant to....!

Heh, beautiful song, RCM - I love War of the Gargantuas.
But there are so many good songs stuck in bad movies, it's hard to pick one or two.
...unless, of course, you choose the all-time granddaddy classic of them all.

One of the VERY few good songs on SHOCK TREATMENT. (are those girls wearing DIAPERS?!)

And who can forget Christopher Lee singing his heart out in "The Return of Captain Invincible"?!

Blood Dolls has some great music, courtesy of an all-girl rock band locked in a cage. There's even a music video on the DVD. Couldn't find a video of it, but the last half of the trailer has one of the songs on it.

And on of my favorite little bits of music:

There are a slew of amusing songs in b-movies. "Keep on Dancing" from "Nine Deaths of the Ninja" is another.

(Check the video clip, which is the movie's opening.)

Oh my goodness! :buggedout:
I NEED to see Green Slime now!!
GREEN SLIME and Christopher Lee are classics!
I have a fondness for the theme to THE BLOB. Catchy as heck, and lyrics to live by, too!

Here's a happy little ditty!
(Again, from "The Return of Capatain Invincible")

Personally, I've always liked "Let's Fall Apart Together Tonight" from Q, the Winged Serpent. I'll see if I can find something on it later.
HORROR of PARTY BEACH had some fun music in it...
...and you could actually hear it if the stupid MS3K robots would SHUT the HELL UP!!!!- :hatred:
http://youtube.com/watch?v=X1cvpxPoJUU
The song that opens up Al Adamson's SATAN's SADISTS sticks in yer head...whether you like it or not...!

OH!!! The Mummy...from MAD MONSTER PATY!!!
http://youtube.com/watch?v=89sL4R50Z6E

First I have to recommend the theme song from Star Crystal, as sung by the voice of Daphne from Scooby-Doo, Where are You?, which I actually found on YouTube...
http://youtube.com/watch?v=hKeOIKHW6i4
The "Fall Break" song from The Mutilator was pretty fun, too.
One song popped into my brain automatically...En.er..gy takes me where I want to be and you're where I want to be girl you give me, give me...

One of my all time favorites is "Save the Earth" in Godzilla vs. the Smog Monster.
Some of my other favorites already mentioned are "Green Slime" and "Beware of the Blob."
Oh yeah, and what about the title song from "My Son, the Vampire."
A personal favourite of mine, from Friday the 13th: Part 6

Ever notice how the music from TALES from the CRYPT tv show sounds oddly like the theme from MY SON THE VAMPIRE?
Speaking of that film...and B-A-D music....

...ugh!
Here's a classic. The theme from Kingdom of the Spiders, that played at the beginning of the movie, the end, and on practically every radio in between. Let's take a trip down to peaceful Verde Valley, shall we?

"The Neverending Story" theme and "We don't Need Another Hero" by Tina Turner from "Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome".

The "Fall Break" song from The Mutilator was pretty fun, too.
It's just amazingly out of place once the movie gets rolling and the killer is doing his killing. It does provide some sense of the brutal change, kids going to a beach house to enjoy fall break and being murdered instead.
BELA, always enjoyed "The Words Get Stuck In My Throat" from WAR OF THE GARGANTUAS!
Another favorite of mine is "The Blob" from THE BLOB, credited to THE FIVE BLOBS which charted in 1958 reaching #33 (youtube link already posted by REV.) Though not a fan of THE KILLER, can't deny his hotness, this one from HIGH SHOOL CONFIDENTIAL (plus lots of COOL clips :teddyr: and yes, that's JACKIE COOGAN on the piano in the "beat" part) :

I've been trying to collect themes songs from my favorite slashers and put them on my iPod for a while now. Here's "The Legend Lives" from "Madman," which is oddly creepy even with the ridiculously cheesy synth notes. The music video is set to footage from the Ninja Turtles cartoon for some reasons...:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vZqAsmtO_0U
I recently got the information needed to use what I've dubbed "Love Theme from "Don't Go In the Woods"" in my own indie film.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jKbJsZ7rgdA
Sadly, I couldn't find a music video for "The Dark Side of the Forest" from "The Forest," but here's the trailer instead which is pretty cool.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I5PTPNIo4j8
Here's Angela's theme from "Sleepaway Camp." Considering the shock value of the movie, the song is surprisingly bitter-sweet.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x2JZvjF19dI
And how could we forget "Everybody Get's Laid Tonight?" I know I can't.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YJDObC5c0jw
All of the music from "Phantom of the Paradise," "Shock Treatment," and "Rocky Horror" is excellant, of course. And somebody's all ready posted "The Green Slime" which rockers all sorts of boxers. And again, not ashamed to admit that I've saved all of the above songs.

That song is GREAT! It makes me want to go back in time to the 80's. ReALLLY bad.
That Alice Cooper song is awesome. Karma point for that.
Karma point for the Green Slime song.
Here's my submission. I can't believe it hasn't been mentioned yet.
Oh how I miss those desert skies, your cool touch in the night...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ggpcNirFZ08
And another Karma point for that disturbing Joker-chewing-gum avatar.
On a serious note, for non-bad movies, love the music from Blade Runner, and also for some reason much of the music from Ladyhawke. Must be an eighties thing. =)
Hard Rock Zombies...actually I mostly hate the music from the film but its simply a funny thing to intake.

Man, nobody mentioned Lon Chaney Jr. singing "Spider Baby", from the ultra-weird film of the same name --
I have the soundtrack to "Forbidden Zone" -- it's mostly all Cab Calloway, with very little Oingo Boingo. Wonderful music!!
I like Weird Al Yankovic's take on Bond music in "Spy Hard" -- "The naaamme of this film is Spyyy HAAARRDD!!", etc.
peter johnson/denny crane
monkey in my hatband from the choppers
vicky and/or valerie from eegah!
any songs from the boggy creek movies
and last but hardly least, the theme song from kingdom of the spiders!
The crooning Arch Hall Jr. in WILD GUITAR as well as EEGAH!.
From Meet The Feebles
Garden of Love - a lovely song with a pretty melody. Pity a huge hippo with binge eating issues is singing it.
Sodomy - Very funny and clever. Sung by a fox with delusions of theatrical grandeur.
Who can forget all those great songs from Cannibal: The Musical

Grr . . . I was supposed to be the person singing the Snowman song . . .
* * *
I just thought of a good one: Vincent Price sings "Over the Rainbow" in Dr. Phibes!!!
