Has anyone stumbled on to this jem...Shark Attack 3: Megalodon? I heard from a friend that I should check it out. I had no idea it was so.... BAD. This might be the best of the bad movies I have ever seen. Any one else seen this?
I finally saw Shark Attack 3 last year and loved it. The movie is pure gold and lots of fun. In other words: the perfect party flick. Can't reach the greatness of Troll 2 but it's definitely up there.
Tip: the search option is your friend, as there are several Shark Attack 3 threads scattered about
No question, I flat out love this awful thing --
We watched it several times in a group setting -- There is a line in it about a wee kitty that comes out of nowhere at all, and reduces all who hear it to paroxims of snorting laughter of disbelief -- In interviews, the actor that gives the line proudly claims that he improvised it. Given the badness of some of the other lines, I think he read it as written --
A Mexican/Russian/Ukranian co-production!! What more could you ask for??!
I especially love the grand climax -- The boat is "threatened by a storm" and the attacks of the Megalodon, yet exterior shots of the boat clearly show a calm, whole craft, wobbling lazily on a calm sea, with clear blue skies --
Any you gotta love anything that can eat a whole rubber raft worth of folk in one gulp, even if he is just an overlay shot . . .
Just brilliant -- If you haven't seen it, make a point of it -- Be prepared for awful, awful, awful, but funny --

Oh .. Thanks! I am new here and did not notice the SEARCH option. I was amazed at how many times I thought wha wha what??? I pulled the audio of the shark growls and some of the other special lines from the film.
This seems like a great place. I have always loved these movies and now I have a place to come and share and even get some input on ones I haven't seen! Thanks BADMOVIES! Troll 2 is a good one, huh? That the one with the family moving into a new house and there is a playhouse the little girl hangs out in??? I will have to look around and see if thats the one. Thanks! :teddyr:
The "line",spoken/improved by current "Torchwood" star John Barrowman,is in my sig below.
THAT'S how much i love this piece of garbage.
Kudo to redsneaker just for showing up & mentioning this again -- Who cares about the number of old threads on this?
With some films I'm like a 1-year old playing peek-a-boo -- Just mention a film title and I will laugh out loud every time -- This is one of them -- Robot Monster is another . . .
Haven't seen Troll 2 --

Shark Attack 1 and Shark Attack 2 were made in South Africa and the company that made them eventually left SA under a cloud for either not paying or underpaying their crews and actors. They were chased out, actually.
That's why Shark Attack 3 was made in Bulgaria.
Thanks for the great info!
Not only do I love this movie, but my brother, who loves westerns but hates most B movies, loves this movie. That's right, it's pan-genre-istic?!
