That's exactly what I remember about it. A man is being chased between the walls in a big house when he has to shimmy through a 12 inch wide room with thousands of razor blades stuck in the walls.  He slowly makes it through to the other side with only a few cuts.  At the end he sees a rabid dog coming after him so he has to go back through.  I think the scene ended with him trying to decide to fight with the dog or go back through.
If I am right, I think this movie was a set of 3 or 4 stories. The movie was probably from the early 90's.  Good luck with this one.

1972's "Tales From The Crypt".  If I remember correctly, the scene which you describe happens to the owner of a retirement home.  If I'm not mistaken, it's the third story in the film.

I concur with Ska on all counts. A flick I've just recently learned to appreciate, much like the original comic book series it was based on. This is easily my favorite segment!

Yep, it was actually the remake that the Tales from the Crypt series did that I remembered seeing. I know because I remembered Isaac Hayes being one of the blind guys that screw with the owner after his abuse.
Thanks!

There was a Tales From The Crypt with that happening.  It was newer than 1972.  I remember watching it.  But in this episode, there was a blind girl and some other people that could not take care of themselves.  There was also an handyman with a checkered pass.  At the end the landlord is chased down a homemade hall that was lined with razor blades.  The dog was a twirler that was either hungry or very angry at the world.
I know that this was solved, but I thought that I would add my two cents.
