I rented this one for my Friday night B-movie this week and it was a blast!!!! Directed by Robert Englund, this comedy/horror fest is silly and mindlessly enjoyable.
Synopsis - Three total losers from Iowa pile into a junker and drive to L.A. in search of an apartment and some action of the female type. After a couple of dead ends, they find a Chinese realtor who directs them to a beautiful, three story, modern home located on 666 Perdition Drive.
They encounter a Mexican who tries to warn them that "El Diablo" is "en la Casa" - but they think "El Diablo" is his favorite hot sauce. They get settled in to the house and their foxy neighbor, Lucy, drops in . . . she has two equally foxy friends named Jezebel and Delilah. They decide to throw a huge housewarming party, inviting as many girls as they can - even after they discover a gaping hole in the basement that glows with an unearthly red light. The guests show up one by three - a huge, butch lesbian from the health club, the geeky guy from the office supply store, six Catholic schoolgirls, their drinking buddy turned seminary student, three Swedish girls in bikinis, a lost Hollywood has-been looking for Toby McGuire's house, and a dwarf, accompanied by two porn stars. Oh, and the pesky Mexican keeps coming back trying to warn them that the devil is about to steal all their souls.
At the party, people begin dying in creative ways, the three guys try to hide bodies so that they don't have to call the cops till after they can score with a girl, and all manner of bizarreness breaks out before the three foxy neighbors reveal their true natures . . . as Satan and his two chief succubi! Prompting one of the funniest lines of dialogue in the whole film:
"Lucy - You've got a Penis!"
"I have a vagina too!"
Fortunately the drunken seminary student is on hand with his guitar . . . .
Actually, this movie is not as risque as it sounds . . . there was no nudity at all other than the male dwarf wearing jeans with peek-a-boo cutouts in the butt, and the dialogue wasn't loaded with F-bombs. More than anything, this was just one VERY funny movie, one of the best horror spoofs I've seen in awhile.
I saw this not to long ago myself. It was just shut your brain off type of flim. One those guys thought their were squatters trying to get them out of the house I was just laughing. It has it moments but nothing I would own but its great rent.
