I'm a bit of a potato chip connoisseur and can't seem to eat a sandwich without some. I was wondering what people like for potato chips out there? My personal favs vary but I usually end up staying with kettle cooked chips. Especially the local Cape Cod Potato Chips.

Lays comes in a close second with their kettle chips.
Jays.
Haven't had a potato chip in about 15 years.
Yeah, Cape Cod chips are awesome, I like their Sea Salt and Vinegar.
Thanks, DarkSider, now I want a potato chip sanger! And I was trying to be good today too!
Anyway, fave potato chip....mmm....not sure if I actually have one but Arnotts Jacks in either plain or bbq flavour are high up the list.
Also, Pringles have just brought out a rice chip alongside their usual potato variety. The flamegrilled bbq steak one is pretty nifty.
Today i had some REEAALLLLY crunchy Halopinio chips. Yummy!
Sour Cream and Onion Pringles, Fritos, or BBQ Lays. DEE-liscious.
I don't do many chips anymore, but when I do it's the Salt and Pepper ones.
In South Africa, the most popular potato chips are "Simba" chips which you can find at www.simba.co.za (http://www.simba.co.za) and "Willards" Chips which don't happen to have a website, strangely enough.
My favourite chip has always been the "Korn Kurl" variety which you can find all over the world in some form or another: I even found some in Italy once. Another favourite is the brand named "Ghost Pops" which became popular in 1984 after the release of Ghostbusters :teddyr:
For the most part, I've cut chips out of my diet.
HOWEVER:
On the odd occasion I have some, I prefer Herr's. Specifically, Herr's: Plain, as well as their Sour Cream and Onion and their "Hot" Chips.
Right now, Lays plain potato chips are my favorite. For variety I like some sour cream and onion, barbecue, oh heck, I'll try just about anything. Ruffles plain with sour creme and onion dip is another fave'. Funyuns are a lifelong love of mine as well.
I'm trying to get off of of potato chips myself. My new favorite one that I enjoy now and then is Miss Vickie's. It's made by Lays, and it's not too bad. I like them better than some of the others since they use sea salt instead. They are hard to find since this brand of chips if mostly sold in Canada.
