I believe that this has to be the same movie I found on Monstrula (a German monster website) that they called "Terror Serpent." Have been wanting to see it for years, because it's a giant monster movie - and I haven't seen it.
Gotta agree with you about "Attack of the Supermonsters." That film is hopelessly bad, but fun in a way that really bad ideas turned into movies are fun.
