Hi all dudes
I am a collage student of photography and film
So you are learning to make collages of photos and film?
Good for you! :tongueout:
Anyway, check out
Troll 2.
It has developed a HUGE cult following.

Check out our interview with George here:

Zombie cult films with NO GORE? Thats like hot dogs with no mustard! Frys with no ketchup! Apples with no pie! Peanut Butter with no baloney! p***y with no cat!
Ok....if you like horror comedys-the EVIL DEAD 2...!
http://youtube.com/watch?v=pegSpP5plA8
the possessed hand scence is a favorite of mine!
http://youtube.com/watch?v=PzXk3nfEdMY
Don't forget They Live
Manos: The Hands of Fate is probably of cult status these days. However, it's not a zombie movie. Mutant starring Wings Hauser doesn't exactly have a cult status but is quasi-zombieish. You will subject yourself to some torture watching this one though. Zombie Strippers(Not Porn) is a fun little movie as well.
If you're looking for more of the musical/broadway play adaptation you might try Forbidden Zone, Hillbillys in a Haunted House or The Terror of Tiny Town.
Hope this helps.
If you liked PINK FLAMINGOS, try John Waters' other movies, especially FEMALE TROUBLE and DESPERATE LIVING. Also try Peter Jackson's sick muppet movie, MEET THE FEEBLES (link to Andrew's review (http://www.badmovies.org/movies/meetfeebles/)).
For zombie movies without gore... well, you won't find many. For old B&W zombie films with lots of atmosphere, try WHITE ZOMBIE and I WALKED WITH A ZOMBIE. Of course you've seen the original NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD? You may also want to try RETURN OF THE LIVING DEAD (link to Andrew's review (http://www.badmovies.org/movies/returndead/)), which has some gore but is not totally over the top.
In addition to those listed.
Cult movies, all genres ... (some with a tiny bit of gore)
EVIL DEAD
ARMY OF DARKNESS
BRAZIL
1984
MONTY PYTHON AND THE HOLY GRAIL
NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD (the original)
FREAKS
BLADE RUNNER
PLAN 9 FROM OUTER SPACE
FASTER p***yCAT KILL KILL
THE TOXIC AVENGER
PEE WEE'S BIG ADVENTURE
ERASERHEAD
HOUSE OF A 1000 CORPSES
THIS IS SPINAL TAP
A CLOCKWORK ORANGE
BASKET CASE
THE BIG LEBOWSKI
DEAD ALIVE
UHF
EL TOPO
DUCK YOU SUCKER
DAWN OF THE DEAD
PINK FLOYD - THE WALL
HEAVY METAL
etc etc
need more?
first~thx all guys!!

Seth - we LOVE Hong Kong movies around here! They are "cult" movies in this country. John Woo, Shaw Brothers (MASTER OF THE FLYING GUILLOTINE), RIKKI-OH, and my favorite, FANTASY MISSION FORCE (hope you're familiar with those under their English titles).
Cult movies are hard to define. They should be fervently loved by a small group of people and overlooked by the majority. They should also be a little offbeat and weird. My top 5 I would place in the "cult" category:
CARNIVAL OF SOULS - B&W Twilight Zone cheapie, but surprisingly effective and existential feeling.
GLEN OR GLENDA - Ed Wood's pro-transvestite documentary
ERASERHEAD - The best depiction of a nightmare ever put on film
SPIDER BABY - Atmospheric horror/comdey about a family where the children get mentally younger as they get physically older
FANTASY MISSION FORCE - If you thought this was weird in Chinese, imagine seeing it though American eyes
The fact that the first four are in B&W is probably just a coincidence.

Hi !
i hv heard that HongKong 80's-90's b-movie are famous in other country cult fans!
Hummm Yes of cuase i can understand those english title !
but funny is "FANTASY MISSION FORCE" really not "very famous" in HongKong cult fans!
not many people notice this one
may be it's super funny in american eyes?right?
hummm may be let me share some "HongKonger recommend for you
"Shaw Brother" 70's-80's movie hv a lot of crazy and cult movie.....
"The Super Inframan"
"The Stud and the Nympho"
"FIVE ELEMENTS NINJAS"...........THOSE ARE CRAZY AND FUNNY (EVEN IN HONGKONG fans eyes)
AND here are some GUTS AND GORES which recommend
"Ebola Syndrome"
"The Beasts"
"The Untold Story"
the coming two is my own favorite
"Mismatched Couple"
Super highly recommend , If u know who is "Donnie Yu" , the KungFu actor in HK , And "Yuen Woo Ping" , The Miscellaneous Crew, kung-fu guidance who are now famous in hollywood"
You must watch this one...it's about Donnie Yu who act a B-boy , so,can u imagine? Donnie and Yuen Woo Ping use Kung-Fu mix inside the breakdance , and of cause , a mad - nonsense story
"Stooges In HongKong"
A Super crazy movie because it make a big crash to the HK conservative social values
as u may not know , cantonese hv a big big big amount of foul language , this movie was making fun with the foul language...sex.
It was funny and nonsense
one last things
is that easy to find HK bmovie in US / euro?
hum....if u guys really hv some interested movie but can't find in us , may be u guys can contact me for help , as HongKong old movies VCD/DVD only cost 2US - 5US each
best wishes

Not many Americans seem to know about this one, either, even though Jackie Chan's in it. I keep trying to convince people to see it.

EBOLA SYNDROME has been on my list to see for some time. I've also read about UNTOLD STORY (which also goes by the title THE UNTOLD STORY: HUMAN MEAT ROAST PORK BUNS).

I'll keep these in mind. I've been warned to avoid Hong Kong comedies because the humor doesn't translate well, but breakdancing is the universal language.

It's much easier to find these movies now than it used to be, with NetFlix and the Internet. I used to be able to go into a video store in my local Chinatown and get them. If there's any old movies that I'm desperate to get and I can't find, I'll keep you in mind. But you have to register for the forum!

These days I just got the DVD - The Evil Dead 2 (Book Of The Dead Limited Edition) (http://www.spammed%20url/searchdeals.php?deal_id=73758&ru=290), it really had no competition whatsoever for the funniest Horror film ever made. it's definitely the good option for you, i'd say.
Yes it's definitely hard to top that one. Since a few more recent films have been mentioned, I'm surprised no one has recommended "Wild Zero" yet. Seth, you should add "Wild Zero," as well as "Evil Dead 2," to your list.

and the translate is really a big big big problem
i don't know if it will better in the "oversea" version
but in out VCD/DVD , the translate really bad. sometimes the "chinese subtitle" and the "english subtitle" is talking some totally different story.
hum
if u know who's Donnie Yu (the most great HK acting actor)
You can check this , some clip from "Mismatched Couple"
