Please do not stare at the 'Handless Organist'. It is not polite.
OK I'm hitting next and also the numbers and all it shows is Cody and he crossed eyed album cover every time ...
Bleh. It works OK for me. I'll see if there's another way to link to this.
In the meantime, here's a link to the voting page, with thumbnails of each cover.
Not quite as effective as the larger versions, but you'll get the idea.

The site didn't work for me either... I saw the thumbnails, and most of those covers are wretched, but I like the LES BAXTER Space Escapade cover and I'd definitely be interested to hear the album! :teddyr:

There is no link on the right:
Worst album cover ever? Vote for your least favorite and add some comments That is the page header on the left, there are links on the right, but, none that prove useful for viewing larger images than the voting page.
I got the thumb vote thing to work, OMG those are bad. I'have seen many of them before. But some are just scary.
I voted for this one... :teddyr:

Orion is awesome with his lovely gay, spangly face mask and shiny blue clothes.
But those old biddies covered in shaving foam......surely that breaches some part of the Geneva Convention about torture to innocent civilians! Ow! My eyes! :buggedout:
And that poor Weela Gallez. She has a monkey on her back and her turtle's dead. No wonder she looks like she's tripping on something strong. :teddyr:

Karma to you Raffine for making me laugh today!
Especially seeing as how I felt bummed out before because I got slagged off on another blog for
voicing my opinion on something. :buggedout:
I thought the rapping dummy's jheri curls to be rather entertaining.
Well, I'd be remiss if I did not mention the soundtrack to Scarlett Fry's Junkfood Horrorfest in the Worst Album Covers thread.

Particularly since it featured a photo of Scarlett Fry's Junk.
I have to be one of the most heartless people in history to have voted for The Brailettes as the worst album cover. Chicken Coup de Ville was up there, but wow... that one just took the cake for me.

I actually own an Orion album! I found it in a cut-out bin for next to nothing and bought it because a.) it was just so goofy, and b.) it was gold vinyl. The blurb on the back cover was trying to pass him off as the next Elvis (but more mysterious since he wears a mask--ooooooh), and it was all just too funny. Wretched, but funny.
Wanna see a bunch more strange album covers?

I wish I had gotten a picture of this album cover I saw in college. I was passing by an apartment building where many students from India lived, and someone had an old-fashioned record cover sitting on her window sill called "Rapanahan Sings!" and on the cover was this sequin jumpsuit clad smiling Hindu man with THEE biggest grin and the scariest bug-eyes I'd ever seen. Truly startling. It would've made the list!
I think the Orion gimmick was that they were kind of implying that he was actually a secret identity of Elvis, since there were all those rumors about him not really being dead.

That was kind of the impression I got, though it's been years since I even looked at the record, so I don't remember for sure how they worded things. I mostly just remember the hokiness of the gimmick.
That "Electric Amish" one made me laugh. :teddyr:
