Title: Rare uncontacted tribe photographed in Amazon
Post by: AnubisVonMojo on May 30, 2008, 06:32:12 AM
Looks like it's not too late for all those Italian cannibal movies to become true stories after all.

Well, as long as they keep on flying over their heads taking pictures (and have been for a while, according to another source), I wouldn't call them unconnected anymore....

I cannot imagine what they might be thinking of a plane. Others, that they tell about this, might well think of them the same way most of us do of people stating they have seen UFOs. The irony...

I'm guessing the color red has some special meaning for them.  Yes, one is pointing an arrow at the plane, it says so in the article.

It is amazing there are still 'uncontacted' tribes in the world. Unfortunately I'm guessing they'll soon be catching herpes, smoking Marlboros, and wearing old "SpongeBob Squarepants" teeshirts.

Anyone remember the "Gentle Tasaday" tribe that was supposedly discovered living in a Philippine rain forest back in the late 60's? We had the best-seller book! Charles Lindbergh himself wrote the intro!

The Tasaday were reported to be living and caves and they had a genuine stone-age culture. Later it was reported the whole thing was a hoax - and then reported the hoax was a hoax: the Tasaday were a bonified stone age tribe when discovered; except now they were catching herpes, smoking Marboros, and wearing old "KEEP ON TRUCKIN" teeshirts.

Wait a minute the enviro-wackos in the 1970's said we were cutting the Amazon down at such an alarming rate it would be gone by the year 2000, you mean it's still there and it's so big that they are still discovering tribes unknown to the outside world?
I saw that story a few days ago and I can only imagine the what is said around the hut when they see a plane fly over. Talk about seeing a UFO.

If I ever win a million dollars playing the lottery (and I don't play, so it could be hard), I might start a company whose only goal is to discover these tribes, fly over them, and drop a Coke bottle.

The only bad thing about this is the fact that now since it's been on the news, somewhere some southern-baptist preacher is now probably trying to come up with funds so they can go in there and teach these people about "God" and to cover up their nudity. It's sad that so many cultures are killed this way...
