I see that the report has been updated, and that they say it destroyed the building that houses the King Kong exhibit. Has anyone been to it before? Were any original props or other items on display?

I can only say one thing about this.
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
The clock tower and town square set from Back to the Future was also destroyed. :bluesad:
They are reporting that a vault containing reels and videos was damaged, though they also say that there are duplicates of the videos stored in the vault. Hopefully, they mean duplicates for all of them, because they are saying it was 40,000 to 50,000 items in there.
A real shame . . . a big chunk of our cultural history, the good and the bad, went up in flames today.
