Check out www.codereddvd.com for a complete list. I recently purchased CAN I DO IT . . . TIL I NEED GLASSES? (See separate topic). But Code Red will be releasing some interesting stuff including:
* BEYOND THE DOOR
* SOLE SURVIVOR
* THE FARMER
* SWEET SIXTEEN
* DEAD PIT
* SILENT SCREAM
* THE VISITOR
* NIGHTMARE (bad, bad, bad, and bloody!)
* THE MUTILATOR
* SPASMS
Dead Pit is pretty good, I got a bootleg DVD on Ebay a few years ago. About a girl who goes into an insane asylum, where years ago a mad doctor was conducting experiments into...well, I won't spoil it for anybody. Good atmosphere and a fairly interesting plot.
I've heard about maybe 1/10th of these, but damn they sound cool! Not to mention special features on all! Never go out of business, Code Red!
Code Red is really gearing up to be a hell of a DVD company. I have yet to see any of their current releases but they are taking on The Mutilator which I respect. I spoke to one of the owners a while back while trying to setup the Buddy Cooper interview for this site, and they seemed like a good group of people.
Skaboi:
CAN I DO IT . . . TIL I NEED GLASSES is a good quality, widescreen DVD and it has about half a dozen (average to poor quality) trailers for other Code Red DVDs. I think this will become a good source of movies. I just hope they maintain a consistent release schedule and keep building up the number of titles available. So far, they have only scrached the surface.
I hear ya Burgomaster.
Looks to me that they will be a serious competitor to Anchor Bay and Blue Underground soon.
Code Red are great people, very focused on getting independent obscure films to DVD finally. They just release the uber-bad "Boarding House" and also have "Final Exam" and "Pets" coming up.
