The Machine Girl is a Japanese export, apparently starring a swimsuit model and a porn star. The story goes something like this: a young schoolgirl loses her entire family, and one arm, to a Yakuza ninja clan. When a pair of mechanics replace her lost arm with a Gatling gun, she goes a-huntin' for vengeance...

For some reason I find the "drill bra" to be something that I've just got to see. I just added this one to my Netflix queue, won't get here for a while though, when it does I'll probably say "what the @#!! did I orrder this for ?"
Actually caught this one recently. I'm not going to make a new thread about it since we already have this one here. I won't say much, but I will say that the film is a hell of a lot of fun. Watch the trailer and you'll know EXACTLY what you are in for.
i bought this one the day it came out at best buy for 12.99, i`m sure other places have it cheaper. very fun and bloody flick,fountains of blood for every little thing in here.the drill bra is a must see but IMO not the best weapon,and be on the lookout for several CGI shurikens. fun movie.
The people at my local gaming shop can't stop talking about how amazing this movie is.. I've been wanting to see it for a little while now.
I plan to pick this up on pay day, as well as Student Bodies.
Hi Guys, I finally decided to get off my ass and register here (after years of reading).
Anyway, this movie has become one of my favorite campy gorefests after the first 5 minutes.
Things I learned from this movie:
-Ninjas wear matching red Adidas jogging suits
-Prosthetic weapons can be used on any severed limb
-The human body contains about 50 gallons of blood, along with compressed air.
-Drill Bras require a portable 220v power pack
-Garage mechanics can build machine guns from scratch
-It takes a long, long time to cut someone in half using a chain saw
If that doesn't convince you to get this wonderful film, then you're dead inside.

ERrrr, anyway, I've spotted this DVD in stores a couple of times and I've been really tempted to buy it, and this thread really makes me want it!
I have to say this movie was well worth the hype. It is very much in the vein of Riki-Oh: The Story of Ricky and Kill Bill Vol. 1. The blood and gore is way over the top and it's just a fun movie to sit back and enjoy the carnage. Oh I almost forgot to mention the hot chicks!

Haven't been here in a long time.
I watched this last night from NetFlix and was mildly disappointed as the blurb suggested that she (the main character) would keep loosing limbs and adding weapons and was sorta looking forward to seeing what weapons she ended up with. However she really only just lost her left arm and added the machinegun (and briefly a chainsaw). Good photography and the action was decent but since I'm not heavily into the blood/gore, I didn't care for it. If that's your thing then you will enjoy it. However it bounces between trying to be 'real' and trying to be funny and since the gore was so over the top, it kinda broke the 'seriousness' of the situation
