This is pretty pathetic and I can't believe some of the excuses I read in the comments of the news sites running this story. There is no excuse for someone not at least trying to stop the traffic and to comfort the old man.  I can believe the callousness, but it sure makes me sad to have to.

The cop car that shows up after about a minute and half was actually answering another call when he came on the scene.

Sickening.  I can't imagine hesitating in such a situation.  The man is laying in the road!!!  :hatred:

Those people are pathertic, I do not want to meet the person that would just stand and gawk at him, we used to help people, but now an old man in pain is not worth our time. :hatred:

I hope those people aren't around if I ever need help. And it happened because the clown in the car couldn't wait for the other vehicles to move and lurches across the divide :hatred: What is wrong with people?

I saw a report where an eye witness said he didn't have his cell phone so he couldn't call 911.  Yet, a store was right behind him.  I used to drive through Hartford to go to school and people are a bit manical when it comes to driving in that area.
