Sometimes a movie has a scene of people eating that makes me really hungry . . . they make the food look really good or the actor(s) do a great job of making it appear tasty. Some examples:
* Kurt Russell eating nachos in GRINDHOUSE (DEATH PROOF segment)
* Jackie Gleason eating a sloppy Diablo Sandwich in SMOKEY AND THE BANDIT
* Robert Shaw (eating whatever the hell he was eating) during a conversation with Robert Redford in THE STING.
* Most westerns when a bunch of cowboys are sitting around eating beans (maybe the scene in BLAZING SADDLES wasn't very appetizing for obvious reasons)
What others can you think of?
I think it was in WRONG TURN II, when one of the guys tore off a strip of meat that was roasting over the fire and ate it . . . then it turned out to be the thigh of one of the early victims! (About the time he swallowed, his girlfriend noticed the tatoo was still visible on the upper thigh.)
Remember, when you're a cannibal, every fight is a food fight!
Whenever Deborah Foreman has the munchies in Valley Girl.
"This is a tasty burger!" - I'm always craving for Big Kahuna or Uma's $5 dollar milk shake when watching Pulp Fiction.
I defy anybody to watch TAMPOPO and not crave noodles. :tongueout:

wouldn't mind knowing what a wonka bar and all those other amazing sweets they had in charlie and the chocolate factory were like - probably disgusting now because that film was '71
Dinner with Strozzi's gang in The Last Man Standing.
I cannot sit through The Godfather Part One or Two without desperately craving pasta, crusty bread and red wine.
MMmmm.....crusty bread.....
In Blood Diner when everyone is eating the soup made out of people, yummy. :bouncegiggle:
Clamenza showing Mike Corleon how to make dinner for da guys.
"Leave the gun. Take the Canolies."
The scene in THE GODFATHER when they're eating Chinese food and waiting to get a phonecall about the meeting with Solozzo always makes me want to eat lo mein. There's also a good Chinese food scene in MAGNUM FORCE.
The scene from THE FRENCH CONNECTION when Popeye Doyle is standing out in the cold while Charnier and another guy are dining in a fine restaurant always makes my mouth water.
And how about when all the guys are in prison cooking Italian food in GOODFELLAS?
A buddy of mine used to always get hungry watching old cop shows, because of those scenes where somebody comes in with a box of paper-wrapped sandwiches and passes them out.
For me, it was always the hot dog stand scenes in cop shows.

Watching Best of the Best I get some cravings for spare ribs. So anytime my family makes spare ribs, I watch the film a few times.
